Chapter Five, Section Seven covered more of the basics of getting a franchise agreement signed. It covers your 14 Day Waiting period, negotiated changes, drafting and amendments. It’s recommended to be familiar with that chapter while reviewing Chapter Six. Chapter Six will cover more specific details of a signed agreement: important dates, when to collect a franchise fee, assigning territory, real estate, etc.
