Matthew Wizmur

Experience:

Prior to law school, Matt Wizmur spent several years working for small businesses, which adds an edge of business savvy that comes in handy at Spadea Lignana. After developing business leadership skills over several years, Matt graduated from the Rutgers School of Law and also graduated from Rutgers School of Business with an MBA.

After law school, Matt worked for a regional law firm where he assisted a variety of clients with issues like litigation, mediation and pre-litigation conflict resolution. While working as a law clerk for the New Jersey Superior Court, Matt managed to settle cases at a 90 percent success rate. He has been with Spadea Lignana since 2015.

Focus:

Matt practices on the transactional side of the firm with a focus in asset purchase agreements, leases, franchise disclosure documents (FDD’s), and entity formations.

Approach:

While many attorneys are difficult to reach, Matt prides himself on his responsiveness. He is passionate about being available to assist small business owners, so he always responds quickly and provides quality legal advice.

Passion:

Matt loves representing small business owners because they are as passionate about running their businesses as he is about assisting them. He finds joy in the sincere appreciation he often receives for his responsiveness, transparency, and honesty.

A South Jersey native, Matt currently lives in Philadelphia with his wife and daughter. He is an avid Philadelphia sports fan and enjoys playing guitar in his spare time.
