Andrew Matson

Experience:

Andrew brings a franchisee’s perspective to the Spadea Lignana team. Before graduating law school from Temple University, he spent almost ten years as a franchisee for a business called Foot Solutions. Franchise law was a natural fit!

Focus:

As a former business owner, Andrew understands the needs of the franchisee and the franchisor, which is why his main focus is representing his clients throughout the franchising process.

Passion:

Andrew has a clear understanding of the issues that small business owners face on a daily basis, and he uses his personal experiences to help clients better understand obstacles they may face. Because of his past experience, he has a big appreciation for the diverse backgrounds of the business owners he works with, and he enjoys hearing new and unique business plans.

Proud Moment:

Andrew’s proudest moment was walking across the stage at his law school graduation accompanied by his six-year-old daughter.

Approach:

Listening is key. Andrew takes the time to understand the goals of his clients, which helps to determine the legal strategy moving forward. He understands the critical nature of responsiveness and he takes pride in his approach of being available when needed.

When Andrew is not in Philadelphia, he can be found on the beach in Ocean City, Maryland. He is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the New Jersey Bar Association, and the National Cannabis Bar Association.
